Spiridon is a for Storagenode Node Operators. You can join to the Satellite, and utilize your own storage with the high durability of Storj ecosystem.
Every operator can join. The more you bring, the more you can use.

No. Spiridon is independently operated and unaffiliated with Storj Labs. It runs the open-source satellite software from github.com/storj/storj, so any compliant node can serve it.
No. Reputation and audits are per-satellite. Your existing traffic and scores are untouched, and you can remove us at any time with a graceful exit.
Join with your storagenodes. After the vetting period, an invite will be sent to the operator email address of your nodes. The invite will be sent out at least 3 times (once per week).
To bootstrap placements and to monitor your nodes: a small amount of data lets the satellite run audits and prove that there are real nodes behind the IP addresses.
This is an upper limit, not a guarantee of usage. By default it may be zero.
